Overview of Cheetah LOOP
Cheetah Logistics Operations Optimization Platform (Cheetah LOOP) is a decision support platform which is composed of a group of optimization servers. Optimization servers include multiple optimization engines. Each optimization engine has a set of nested algorithms and is dedicated to solve specific transportation problems using state-of-the-art Operations Research methodologies.
Architecture of Cheetah LOOP
LOOP web user interface application is used to form a request. A request includes several key information specific to the problem that needs to be solved. For instance, in order to send a request to solve an instance of a batch routing problem, request should include customer name, problem type (batch routing problem), location and date. Once the request is formed by the user through user interface, it is sent to a Cheetah LOOP optimization server. Optimization server processes the request and asks the relevant problem data from the LOOP data server and assigns the corresponding optimization engine for this problem type to solve the problem.
